We made it!

It wasn't easy, but having him in my arms again I realize it was worth it! I went to pick Mike up from Boot Camp last Wednesday, Feb. 4
Th (Natalie's birthday, "
Please don't tell her!"). I had a hotel to myself Wednesday and Thursday night,
ahhhhhh!
Thursday was Family Day. Mike was released into my care until 8pm that night. We couldn't leave the base, which was a real BUMMER, but we had a fun time. It was really hard for Mike to head back to formation at 7:45pm.
Friday was Graduation. It was very impressive to see all the soldiers after 11 weeks now full of
LOYALTY, DUTY, RESPECT, SELFLESS-SERVICE, HONOR, INTEGRITY, AND PERSONAL COURAGE!
Mike is a good solider. I met some Drill Sgts, who thought so. One said of Mike, "He's a Killer!" and some other choice words. Drill Sgt Hawkins, a much feared Drill Sgt yelled to Mike while I was standing next to him, "I hope you get SHOT!" Which, apparently is suppose to be funny and a term of endearment. Go figure.
We flew home Saturday, very very happy to be together again.
Thanks Melanie, Megan, Christy, Kim, Vikki, Grandpa and Grandma Hill for taking care of our children!
Mike's back doing what he loves the very most, being
DADDY!
OH, AND...
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
The best ever!
